Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Reporting to the Director of Health Services, this position provides direct primary and preventive health care and education to all university campus students in a relief capacity.
The successful candidate must possess a calid California RN license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or possess and maintain a valid license to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the State of California; must possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification as appropriate for the assigned duties; must hold certification in or be clinically competent in a speciality applicable to the student health population (i.e., adult, family, women's health, etc.).
The ideal candidate will have previous college health experience or clinical experience in an outpatient setting of adult patients as well as strong women's health care knowledge and experience. Suturing skills and other minor surgical office procedures experience is also desirable.
