Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services, is a premier provider of supportive housing for the seriously mentally ill in New York City. The BOH Division provides multiple levels of residential services in the Bronx, Staten Island, and Brooklyn with the goal of supporting residents to live in the community with as much independence as possible. The Division Director of Beacon of Hope is responsible for ensuring that the Division’s residential and other program services are managed and carried out in accordance with regulatory and good practice standards and in keeping with the BOH and Catholic Charities missions.
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration or related field and a minimum of 10 years of senior managerial experience in the behavioral health field.
Understanding of regulations governing housing and services for the mentally ill, as well as compliance and quality assurance from the perspective of NYS OMH, OMIG and the NYS Justice Center.
Familiarity with Medicaid billing, value-based payments, and the structure of DSRIPs, Health Homes, and HCBS services that are developing as part of New York State Medicaid redesign.
Experience supervising behavioral health teams.
Experience managing program/departmental budgets and related reporting
