Currently seeking to fill three Medical Director positions. One part time position in Winchester, VA, one full time position in Lancaster, PA, and one full time position in Mays Landing, NJ. The position offers relocation, milage and on-call pay.
The Medical Director is responsible for and is the ultimate authority for the prescribing, dispensing, and administration of Methadone and Suboxone in the accordance with all application Federal and State Laws and Regulations. The Medical Director will adhere to the vision and mission of the Company.
Prescribes and terminates all Methadone and Suboxone dosages.
Supervises either directly or indirectly any physician, physician’s assistant and/or nurse practitioner.
Ensures all information obtained during the course of physical examinations, laboratory results and other diagnostic evaluations are duly recorded in all patient records.
Ensures all physical examinations are completed, certifying each applicant is eligible for narcotic treatment.
In conjunction with the Executive Director, ensures that a 24-hour emergency contact is available.
Attends treatment team meetings.
Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, use hands or fingers, reach with hand and arms frequently throughout the work day
Must be available to work during clinic hours
Works in office area as well as the dosing area.
Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours.
Subject to frequent interruptions
Involved with patients, staff, government agencies / personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances
Occasional interaction with emotionally escalated patients.
Communicates with the medical, nursing, clinical, and other departmental staff
Attends and participates in continuing education programs
May be subject to injury from falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc., throughout the workday, as well as to reactions from dust, disinfectants and other air contaminants
May be subject to exposure to infectious waste, disease, conditions, etc., including TB,HIV/AIDS, and Hepatitis B Viruses
Licensed physician in the state where the facility is located.
Meet all state OTP licensing requirements.
Training or experience in treating persons with opiate addiction.
ASAM Certified or have successfully completed or will complete within one year, a course of study in opiate addiction that is approved by the Department of Health per State regulations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Successful completion of State required background check and required trainings (i.e. CPR and First Aid Training).
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
