Under the direction of the SVP Hospital Operations, this role provides executive leadership in the delivery of site hospital’s strategic, financial, operational and programmatic objectives.
The incumbent will carry oversight for all on campus operations as well as operations of associated ambulatory site(s).The responsibilities for role include but are not limited to:
Enhancing the hospital-related services, to continually strive for excellence in service, quality, safety and business systems.
Serving as the hospital site director on a day-to-day basis, responsible for oversight/coordination of daily operations, physician relationships and financial outcomes.
In the context of a highly matrixed organization, ensuring that human, financial and material resources are available, mobilized and aligned to produce successful operational results and the building of a competitive market advantage in the following areas:
Physician relationships and business development
Customer service and patient satisfaction
Work force (physician and support staff) capability and involvement
Developing community relationships with local leaders in the site geography, and is responsible for regulatory oversight.
