Private cardiology physician practice seeks an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform cardiac nuclear perfusion scans in an outpatient only facility.
JOB SUMMARY: Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for the use in diagnostic cardiac studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient/radiation safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI and QA procedures.

Office Based Cardiology Practice; No call, weekends or overtime.
40 hour work week

1-3 years preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Registry in Nuclear Medicine ARRT,and /or CNMT is required. License to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the State of Montana is NOT currently required but should future law mandate, licensure will be expected. Current BLS is required.

Must display a high degree of professionalism, computer/organizational skills, and emotional maturity. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills necessary to establish collegial and patient rapport. Individual must be able to work independently, yet be a team player with strong work ethic, understanding specific roles/responsibilities of office dynamics. Open to instruction with ability to adapt to variable work schedules and growing practice environment.
