Anchorage, Alaska -- Alaska Family Medicine Residency is seeking a part-time Family Medicine physician to join our excellent team. Our residency program was designed with a curriculum to meet the needs of family physicians who practice in remote and isolated Alaska communities. Since opening our doors in 1997, the program has graduated over 150 residents nearly all of whom are practicing medicine in rural Alaska. Our team includes nearly 20 faculty physicians, two behavioral health scientists, a Pharmacy Director and two physician assistants. This position includes both clinic work and teaching responsibilities. Live and practice in a city with world-class hiking trails, salmon streams, moose, eagles, winter and summer recreation, arts and sports. Great opportunity to work with culturally and ethnically diverse patients. Multi-lingual skills a plus. Our community-based, University of Washington affiliated program trains residents for rural and underserved practices.
