Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Join the dedicated staff at Bradley Hospital, the nation’s first Psychiatric hospital for children. The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a motivated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with primary care experience. The ideal candidate will have an interest in children and teens with behavioral health issues and good general pediatric knowledge. Responsibilities include admission physicals for patients in both inpatient and partial hospitalization programs, as well as medical consults on inpatients. Bradley Hospital is affiliated with Hasbro Children’s Hospital and benefits include participation in both Bradley Hospital Nursing Leadership and Hasbro Children’s Hospital Pediatric Grand Rounds. May consider well-qualified part-time applicants as well.
BSN: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current license to practice in Rhode Island; Master’s degree in Nursing
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Specialty certification required
Minimum of four years of related experience, two years of which must be as a professional nurse in a hospital setting.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span, with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
Excellent verbal/written interpersonal and communication skills.

Performs independently within department policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to supervisor where clarification of departmental policies and procedures may be required.
