Providence is calling a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)(Residential Care Department, Supplemental/Per Diem (no guaranteed hours or benefits), 0.0FTE, Variable Shifts)to Providence St. Joseph Assisted Living in Polson, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Act as an advocate for residents in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity and security.
Provide appropriate resident assistance as directed by the licensed staff.
Assist in providing assistance and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure within two months of employment
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart. Association (AHA)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure
One year experience as a CNA in acute care or long-term care
Three years experience as a personal care giver
