NADAP, a recognized provider of wraparound services supporting the health and recovery of New Yorkers for 45 years, seeks applications from dedicated, passionate professionals for the BSW Intern Program Supervisor position in their fast-growing Health Homes Care Coordination Program.
The BSW Intern Program Supervisor position provides clinical and administrative supervision for a team of BSW Interns. The IPS works closely with his/her team to ensure consistent provision of high quality outreach, assessment, intervention, referral, linkage, monitoring and service planning for all persons served. IPS tracks programmatic data reports to ensure success service delivery and builds relationships with Health Home network medical and behavioral health providers to align services that promote access to care and enhanced health outcomes for all clients. The IPS maintains and cultivates existing relationships with area BSW programs and Field Placement offices, and works with those programs to recruit and onboard appropriate BSW Interns. IPS provides task and clinical supervision to the group of BSW Interns, and completes evaluations as prescribed by the identified universities.
Ensures clients are provided effective care coordination services according to program requirements by mentoring and monitoring the BSW Intern cohort, and intervening when necessary.
Develops and implements action plans to improve effectiveness and efficiency of BSW Interns, while ensuring a safe learning experience for each.
Meets with clients and conducts site visits as needed.
Provides clinical and administrative supervision to a team of BSW Interns.
Provides program orientation and training regarding department procedures and operations. Monitors Intern performance, leads individual and team clinical supervision meetings, assists Interns in problem solving to achieve client and program goals. Composes and delivers evaluations to appropriate universities.
Creates policies, procedures and workflows as needed, in conjunction with departmental management staff.
Cultivates relationships with area BSW programs.
Screens and selects appropriate BSW Interns for each term
