The Hennepin County Medical Center Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department seeks a full-time Physiatrist with strong teaching and communication skills to work in a diverse and stimulating environment in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The position involves both inpatient and outpatient components
The inpatient role serves as an attending on our 18 bed CARF accredited acute rehabilitation unit.
As one of the premier Level 1 Trauma Centers in the country, we provide care for many individuals with TBIs, spinal cord injuries and polytrauma.
The out patient practice will focus on neurorehabilitation and musculoskeletal medicine including MSK ultrasound, electrodiagnostic medicine, acute and chronic pain management.
We train over 200 medical students, residents and fellows annually and members of the HCMC medical staff hold academic appointments at the University of Minnesota.
Research interests are supported through our affiliation with the Hennepin Healthcare Research Foundation.
