The Student Health & Psychological Services (SH&PS) at California State University Dominguez Hills invites applications from individuals for an Emergency Temporary, Full-Time, position from February 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019.
Provides individual and group psychological counseling/therapy, clinical assessment, case management, crisis intervention services and mental health outreach to a diverse university student population.
Minimum Qualifications: A doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology. Demonstrated ability to provide psychological services to college students on personal/interpersonal issues, multicultural issues, developmental concerns, and the full range of mental health disorders. License or license-eligible as a psychologist in the state of California (California licensure within one year of start date).
Preferred Qualifications: Licensed psychologist in the State of California. Experience providing psychological services in a college or university counseling center. Demonstrated professional experience or interest in working with diverse ethnic groups, non-traditional students, men's issues, supervisory experience, development and implementation of mental health outreach programs, and case management/crisis intervention.

Student Health & Psychological Services provides medical and counseling services to the student population at CSUDH. The Student Health Center is staffed by physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, clinical assistants, and a health educator who provide basic outpatient services for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and subacute illnesses and injuries. The Student Psychological Services is staffed by licensed psychologists and psychological trainees who provide individual and group counseling, campus outreach, and faculty & staff consultation.
