Position: The Division of Health Education at Texas A&M University (TAMU) invites applications for an APT, Clinical Assistant Professor. We seek an emerging scholar who is well versed in health related teaching with interdisciplinary research experience to further advance the Division’s strong and expanding undergraduate and graduate programs.
This APT, Clinical Assistant Professor will be an integral part of the Division of Health Education’s faculty, with expectations to provide undergraduate and graduate instruction in health, engage in interdisciplinary collaborations and service opportunities, provide student mentorship, and facilitate undergraduate and graduate research activities.
Successful applicants will hold a doctoral degree with relevance to the teaching and research mission of the Division of Health Education, have a strong commitment to dynamic teaching in face-to-face platforms, and an emerging research agenda. For example, content areas could include teacher preparation, health inequities, sexual health, substance use, and chronic disease prevention.
Salary, benefits, and compensation packages are competitive and the position will begin September 2019.
