Natividad is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to join the Sam Karas Acute Rehabilitation Center, a 24-bed, comprehensive and interdisciplinary inpatient care unit.
Applicants must be Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Our ARU recently received international recognition for rehabilitation quality by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International (CARF); is ranked first out of 107 Kindred Healthcare hospital-based rehabilitation units for clinical excellence; received top scores in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ranging from patient acuity to occupancy rate; and is lead by Medical Director, Dr. Anthony Galicia, who received Natividad’s 2017 Physician of the Year award, a reflection of his exemplary leadership and dedication to our rehab patients.
Natividad is a 172-bed, acute care teaching hospital owned and operated by Monterey County and is the only Level II Trauma Center in Monterey County. Affiliated with the University of California-San Francisco School of Medicine since 1974, we are located near Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey.
