The Division of Infectious Disease at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida is recruiting a pediatric infectious disease physician with significant experience in hospital epidemiology. The ideal candidate will have additional education in hospital epidemiology (such as a Master’s in Public Health) but relevant experience in infection prevention and control/epidemiology will be considered. You will join a well-established system level epidemiology program and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. In addition to practicing clinical pediatric ID (inpatient and outpatient), a substantial amount of time will be dedicated to infection prevention and control. You will work closely with hospital’s Infection Prevention and Control department and provide support for quality of care improvement initiatives, such as antimicrobial stewardship and medical education.
Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital in several pediatric specialties. We are the only US hospital outside the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. location that is part of the Johns Hopkins Medicine family. The pediatric ID team provides the full gamut of care for children with complex and rare infections (excluding HIV). JHACH has a robust transplant program and 97-bed, level IV NICU.

Qualified candidates may be eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (academic rank is open and commensurate with experience).
