Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Responsible for providing and supervising low threshold buprenorphine induction and stabilzation to injection drug users at syringe access locations in Atlantic City and Asbury Park. Provides brief evaluation of client’s medical history, substance usage and confirmation of Opioid Use Disorder. Provides buprenorphine stabilization services to patients awaiting placement with a long term treatment site. Identifies new services or programs relevant to agency’s mission and philosophy.
•Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physicians Assistant in NJ •Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority; maintain a CDS and DEA and DATA 2000 waiver •2+ years of experience as an advanced practice nurse in primary care, emergency medicine or substance abuse treatment
