The purpose of this position is to assist with inquiries and admissions, displaying expertise in crisis intervention skills and guest relations with a firm belief that the patient receives the most appropriate treatment possible. Ability to interact daily with the treatment team, director, clinical manager, nursing department, health information services, medical staff, allied health and administration in such a way as to promote good relationships internally and externally with the general public.
Minimum: BS in psychology, social work or related field
Preferred: MS in psychology, social work or related field.
Minimum: Two (2) years clinical experience in nursing or intake.
Preferred: Four (4) years previous experience in patient care in a psychiatric setting
American Heart Association BLS certification
Successful completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Non- Violent crisis intervention certification course within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
