The Department of Neurosciences & Rehabilitation is seeking Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to work with our growing stroke and general inpatient neurology team.
Join an experienced team of 10 APPs and 10 physicians who strongly value collegiality and teamwork.
Provide 100% inpatient neuro consult service and acute stroke coverage. Primary stroke center working towards Comprehensive Stroke Designation. Potential for neuro critical care coverage in the future.
Full time position involves 12 hour shifts and rotating days/nights/weekends. Leadership is dedicated to work/life balance and professional satisfaction.
Strong mentorship and formal orientation provided for APPs new to neurology. Teaching opportunities for experienced neurology APPs.
Qualifications: BC/BE Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. Able to provide neurology training for new graduates or those experienced in other areas.
