Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Uro/Gynecology
Location: East Mountain Specialty Clinic
Department: Women’s Health
Work Type: Full Time, Monday – Friday
To perform, under the responsibility and supervision of the physician, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to allow the physician to extend services in the sphere of decision making required to establish a diagnosis and to plan therapy. Assists in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician.
A major role will be as patient advocate in the medical care system serving as confidant, advisor, educator and liaison between patients and physicians.
Reports to the Director of Uro/Gynecology.

Education and or Experience:
Graduation from a Family Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing required or Physician Assistant program.
Certification from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner required.
Current Pennsylvania CRNP Prescriptive Authority.
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required.
This Physician Assistant position requires completion of an ARC-PA approved program for physician assistants, NCCPA certification and Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine licensure. Must have current BLS and be eligible for ACLS.
Eligibility for and/or certification by the NCCPA and Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure required.
