POSITION PURPOSE: Assists the Respiratory Director in planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of patient care and department operations. Supervises and coordinates the daily work activities of the respiratory personnel. Resolves most clinical and staff issues as encountered. Ensures that the standards of Respiratory Care Practice are followed. Is involved in all aspects of direct patient care
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: As required for Massachusetts State License.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
Registered Respiratory Therapist. Licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three years of clinical experience. Strong ability to communicate in written and verbal fashion, and able to promote a team approach to patient care.
