Physician - Pulmonologist/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine

An outstanding opportunity to join our Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine Team at Bridgeport Hospital, Milford Campus. As a member of Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) and Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS), we provide our patients with the most advanced services.
This practice is comprised of seven superbly trained physicians who offer the full range of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine services.

The Medical Intensive Care Unit has 10 beds and typical ICU census is in the 6-8 range

Located in the beautiful New England setting of Fairfield County, the area boasts wonderful family oriented residential communities. There is quick access to New York City and Boston with fabulous cultural opportunities, theater, orchestra, museums and restaurants.
MD, DO or equivalent; successful completion of internal medicine residency and pulmonary-critical care and sleep fellowship in accredited programs; 5 years of post-fellowship practice in puolmonary-critical care diseases and sleep medicine, board certification or eligable internal medicine and pulmonary-critical care medicine and sleep medicine.
As above; also, eligible to be licensed in the state of CT.
All those procedures expected of a clinical pulmonologist/critical care physician, as well as sleep medicine.
MMR is required. Varivax (chicken pox vaccine) or evidence of prior chicken pox is required. Hepatitis B (or signed declination) is required for those with potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Tdap and influenza vaccination are strongly encouraged. Significant call and clinical responsibility committment during time spent as MICU attending.
