Gotham Health, East New York is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to be the lead member of the Leadership Team, defining the overall business strategy and directions of the facility. This position directs the overall clinical and administrative vision for the East New York clinic to provide high-quality medical care for patients and to align staff. Focuses include a shift to population health management, value-based purchasing and risk pool management.
In this position you will give medical and administrative oversight, expertise and leadership to ensure the delivery of affordable, quality healthcare services. In addition, the Chief Medical Officer provides clinical expertise and leadership in the design and implementation of new project and innovations for East New York. Lead and implement the clinical and administrative direction for East New York
Focus teams and site units on visions and distinctive strategies that improve short- and long-term performance
Set priorities and direction for ENY clinical teams
Design of clinical interventions and delivery models
Identify and define new and innovative strategies to achieve the goals of population health and financial sustainability
Design and implement delivery models, including policies and procedures
Lead the Chief Nursing and Operating Officers to achieve effective care management processes
Evaluate East New York Medical providers at each facility
Create frameworks for performance evaluation of clinicians, nursing and administration
Develop and implement strategies for provider attraction and retention
In this role, your day-to-day work will be within the Gotham Health, East New York clinic, a comprehensive Primary Care health facility that provides Pediatrics, Primary Care, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Radiology and Vision care for the entire family. Conveniently located in Brooklyn and easily accessible by mass transit, Gotham Health, East New York is dedicated to ensuring that all New Yorkers have access to high quality healthcare, regardless of ability to pay, immigration status or sexual orientation.
