The Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care System (PVA HCS) is currently recruiting a full-time Hand and Plastic Surgeon to support our Surgical Service.
Your duties and responsibilities for this position includes, but are not limited to, the following: Combine the skills of hand surgery, and other aspects of general plastic surgery including breast reconstruction, skin cancer treatment, wound reconstruction, and occasional microsurgery. Assess patients in a clinic setting and perform surgery as needed. Provide consultation in the Emergency Department. Provide diagnosis, care and treatment of patients consulted on an inpatient and outpatient basis; and monitor and evaluate patient care. Possess strong clinical, and communication skills with ability to work with in combination with other modalities.
