Clinical Psychologist Position at Financially Sound Health System in IL

Carle Physician Group is seeking a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our expanding Behavioral Health team at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.

Practice Details Include:

• Individual counseling position at outpatient practice with adult and child patient base
• Provide psychological testing to both adults and children
• Carle's dynamic Behavioral Health Department consists of 4 Child Psychiatrists, 7 Adult Psychiatrists, 11 Ph.D. Psychologists, 13 Therapists, 14 Social Workers, three Nurse Practitioners and two Psychometricians
• Have access to system support from Carle's Behavioral Health Department and work with health care practitioners and teams throughout Carle, including primary care, many medical specialties and hospital services
• Join an experienced PMHNP and dedicated support staff
• Must be willing to live in and be an active part of the community
• Olney is one hour from Evansville, Indiana and is less than three hours from Indianapolis and St. Louis. The community offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities that include fishing lakes, community parks, an aquatic center and an 18-hole golf course. • Interested candidates may have the opportunity to teach students and trainees across the entire spectrum of Carle's Behavioral Health Department

Qualifications Required: 

• Doctorate from an APA-approved Clinical or Counseling Psychology program and Internship required
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience post doctorate and IL Clinical Psychologist license are strongly preferred. Applicants who have completed a post-doctoral training program will be considered, if they are license-eligible at the time application is made
• Candidates that possess a clinical interest in assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorders are strongly preferred
