Registered Nurse Behavioral Health Full Time Days

Up to $10,000 Sign-On bonus available for experienced RN / Registered Nurse

Summary

The Registered Nurse / RN Behavioral Health is responsible for identifying patient's needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning for and delegating care based on patient's needs, executing therapeutic physician or nurse initiated interventions, and evaluating the patient's response to care and progress towards outcomes. The Registered Nurse / RN Psychiatric Nurse must be able to assess the patient's mental status and recognize, document and communicate patient problems and plan of care with the healthcare team.

Required Education/Licensing:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

• Current RN license in the state of Florida or eligible (confirmation from State Board) for licensure

• BSN preferred

• Current BLS card

• CPI certification Fundamental mathematics

• Verbal and written English skills

Required Work Related Experience:

• Within 30 days of hire, employee must: complete general and nursing orientation, demonstrate accuracy and ability to safely administer medications.

• Within 90 days of hire, employee must: show proficiency of IV therapy skills, demonstrate competence in Behavioral Health Competencies.
