The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor, Program Coord coordinates Suicide Prevention efforts in the Sheridan VA Health Care System, is a SME on suicide prevention, functions as part of the Multidisciplinary Treatment Team comprised of professional and Para-professional Mental Health Staff and is involved in case assessment and treatment and discharge planning. The incumbent offers Psychosocial Assessment and Treatment to eligible veterans and their families and/or significant others. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
