The Suicide Prevention Case Manger (SPCM) is a social worker who will serve to facilitate implementation of suicide prevention strategies to help ensure that all appropriate measures are taken to prevent suicide in our veteran population. The SPCM provides community education regarding the VA, the Suicide Prevention Program and suicide prevention in general, to various social services, medical, mental health, legal, housing and welfare organizations. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
