The staff psychotherapist provides psychological services to Veterans with mental illness presenting for care. The incumbent works with patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, psychotic spectrum disorders, & other conditions. S/he provides diagnostic assessments, evidence based psychotherapies/interventions & case management services for high risk patients, when appropriate. S/he serves on the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) treatment team.
