Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware: is seeking a general adult Psychiatrist to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware.

Nemours is a high-quality academic pediatric health care system and has developed a special opportunity for a psychiatrist to provide care for our patients who are older than 18 ( late adolescents and young adults ). This psychiatrist would develop practice in, and develop expertise in, this specific transitional period. The psychiatrist would collaborate with a team of child psychiatrists, pediatric physicians, and advanced practice providers in providing consultation and care in both hospital-based and ambulatory settings. There will be the opportunity to develop additional expertise in young adult presentations of specific pediatric illness groups and the ability to focus on psychosomatic medicine or general psychiatric care. Clinical populations include general outpatient problems, psychosomatic problems, neurodevelopmental disorders, and other complex care areas. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the physician will actively participate in the education and training of Psychiatry Residents and medical students from Thomas Jefferson University. Academic appointment at Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College will be proposed commensurate with experience and performance.

The ideal candidate should be Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry and eligible for unrestricted licensure in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
