The Social Worker position is assigned to VA Western New York Healthcare System's Behavioral Health Substance Abuse Treatment Services (SATS) Programs with responsibilities to provide a high level of direct care and clinical skill in assessing and treating the complicated psychosocial problems of veterans including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and psychotherapy with individual groups, and families. The incumbent will work with various patient populations. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: a. Citizenship. Be a citizen of the United States b. Education. Have a master's degree in social work from a school of socia
