The Registered Occupational Therapist provides patient care based upon a total assessment and written evaluation that is appropriate for the patientâ€™s need and medical condition and provides such care in compliance with the hospital and physical therapy department policy and procedures. Â The licensed Therapist will also assist in the departmentâ€™s performance improvement plan and the hospitalâ€™s commitment to continuous quality improvement. Â The therapist assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving occupational therapy knowledge and skills by conducting staff in-services and attending continuing education courses. Â Good communication skills and computer skills, adherence to the Standards of Practice for Occupational Therapy and Code of Ethics established by the AOTA.
Â Position Requirements: A.Â Licensure/Certification/Registration: 1.Â License-State of Oklahoma 2.Â Certification-Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30days of hire
B.Â Education:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with a BS, MS, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
C.Â Experience: Â Â Â Â Â Â None required, 6 months or greater preferred.Â
