The HCHV [Healthcare for Homeless Veterans] Peer Support Specialist assigned to the CRRC Welcome Center functions as a role model, exhibiting competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills, and assists Veterans to advocate for themselves. This individual will assist Veterans that are seeking services that are available to meet essential needs (shelter, food, income, medical/mental health support).
