 Northwell Health&#8217;s Department of  Psychiatry &#xa0;is seeking a&#xa0; BC/BE Child &#38; Adolescent Psychiatrist&#xa0; to join our brand-new facility that will be located in Riverhead, NY. Thanks to a generous grant from New York State, Northwell is expanding mental health services to children and adolescents on the East End of Long Island &#8211; an area that currently has very limited access to mental health resources. The 12,000 square foot facility will house an outpatient clinic for children ages 5-21 and a partial hospitalization program for adolescents ages 13 &#8211; 17. We are recruiting for a highly motivated practitioner with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.  English / Spanish  bilingual psychiatrist preferred, but not required.&#xa0; The ideal candidate would also have a passion for leadership and innovation. Weekly case staffing sessions with community partners allow us to collaborate and leverage local resources for comprehensive patient support. This is a unique opportunity to help develop a much-needed inpatient program for adolescents, bringing an essential service to our community for the first time.     Compensation:  $390k base salary, $37,500 estimated on-call compensation, $65k sign-on bonus.   Schedule:  225 8/hr shifts per year with an estimated 75 call shifts.
