The incumbent serves on the Mobility & Sensory Aids Team as an Occupational Therapist, serving as a consultant on a multidisciplinary specialty care team that provides complex Prosthetic devices to a wide variety of patients requiring advance specialty care; responsible for training the patient/family members on use of the device. Designs and evaluates manual wheelchair seating system, power wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds and stair glide components of unusual or complex cases. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
