This position is located at the Bakersfield CBOC in the Community Engagement and Reintegration Service (CERS) Department of the Greater Los Angeles Department of Veterans' Affairs as a Transitional Housing (THP) Senior Social Worker. The incumbent performs duties independently in community-based settings to include working with Veterans and family members from various socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, educational, and other diversified backgrounds. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
