The Substance Treatment Services Social Worker or Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor assumes responsibility for the provision of substance abuse treatment for veterans who are seen on an outpatient basis in the Substance Treatment Services Team (STS), which is located within the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic or at a CBOC within the Syracuse, NY VAMC catchment area. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
