94 A/B Acute Psychiatric Units are focused on assisting Vets to return to their "normal life", ensuring that psychosocial, medical, & emotional concerns are addressed as well. The RN is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing &/or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements & evaluates care based on age-specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of care.
