A Senior Social Worker assigned to the Emergency Department (ED) with responsibilities to provide direct social work services for adult Veterans and their families who present for services, which includes but not limited to: crisis interventions, completing psycho-social assessments, completing suicide risk assessments, suicide safety planning, discharge planning, as well as providing VA and Non- VA resources to address patient needs. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
