Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Advanced Practice Nurse needed within the Dept of Pediatrics. Experience with eating disorder patients preferred. The Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center offers a range of services, from consultations, evaluations and referrals, to ongoing support. This includes monitoring each patients mental and physical health, sleep, nutrition, eating habits and development.
Responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team providing comprehensive care
- Evaluate and treat adolescents (12-22 yrs of age)
- Attend high risk deliveries and provide appropriate stabilization
- Evaluate newborns in the well baby nursery for conditions requiring elevation of care
- Performs therapeutic interventions as appropriate for care of neonatal patients
- Provide family centered care and communicate effectively with health care teams and families
- Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies
- Participate in NICU transport team
Qualifications
- NJ Nurse Practitioner license
- NJ RN License
- PMHNP and FNP certification
