This position is for an Addiction Therapist assigned to the Mental Health Service of the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. Incumbent will provide case management and direct patient care to substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health Veterans in outpatient and/or residential rehabilitation setting. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Provides substance abuse evaluation and recommendations for Veterans participating in the program. Conducts therapeutic short-term, in-depth counseling and documents in accordance with specific guidelines.
