Section Chief, Acute Care Mental Health - Psychiatrist The function of the Section Chief, Acute Care Mental Health is to coordinate inpatient and emergency department mental health programming to ensure strategic goals and all VA initiatives under Mental Health Services, clinical and administrative, and performance measures within the acute care line are met. This position also serves as the service discipline lead for psychiatry.
